Well this morning was something I’m not used to. I don’t even drink cows milk so submerging my whale like body in a bath of it was erm…. different! Luckily it was warm… not sure why that makes it better but it definitely was 😂.
I’m 32 weeks pregnant today so have a really nice sized bump for some pictures. I’m super lucky to have a close friend who happens to be an awesome photographer so this definitely made me feel more at ease getting in the tub in front of her! She’s also called Emma just incase I confuse you!
Emma came over this morning with her bags of equipment and was immediately confronted by Bobby with a million questions.
What’s that? Why have you got milk? Are you taking pictures? Do you need some batteries? Can I help? And so on and so on.
So after a little help from Bobby we got the bath run and tipped in 6 pints of whole milk to get the lovely milky effect we were after.
Emma cut the heads off the flowers and after I’d slithered my way into the tub she strategically placed them around me.
I couldn’t help but be reminded of that random primary school swimming lesson when you had to get in the pool in your pyjamas to get some crappy certificate that you definitely never needed 🙈.
Meanwhile, we had some frequent visits from two curious toddlers wanting to see what on earth their mum was doing. Funnily enough they didn’t seem phased by the white bath water! Probably because that’s exactly what their baths have looked like for the last week as Bobby has had chicken pox. They’ve been bathing in oats and calamine lotion.
Emma managed to get the shots super quickly! Probably in about 10 minutes! The perks of her being a pro! Emma made me feel so at ease and we had a laugh and joke at the same time. It’s nice to have someone give you clear directions because being in a bath you could definitely feel awkward! Especially in a pregnant state 😂.
Here’s Emma’s final edits. I’m so happy with them. I think you’ll all agree she’s done a wonderful job! The last photo is my favourite. I love that you can see my tattoo ❤️ .
